Is my car an SE?
Is my car an SE?
I purchased my car used in October 2007. It was advertised as an MR. At the time I did not know that there was an MR SE edition. Tonight I read that The MR did not come in black, so It got me to wondering is my evo an MR SE. Here is a picture of the exterior from the dealer, and a picture of the drivers seat. It was night when I took this picture of the seat, but hopefully you can tell.

I have a mr se brand new from the dealer the color chioces's were chracoal, black, and silver. The way to tell is the seat's have a red stiching around the boarder's the wheel's should have a black diamound polished look, and not but least the exdended front bumper lip.
I know I have air guides for the breaks, because I cut my elbow on one replacing my downpipe.
Here is the side view

No those look like regular grey MR wheels.
You're supposed to have diamond black, which is like a polished silver finish.
Here you go:

If this is not an SE I guess the post about the regular MR not being available in black was wrong. My wheels are definitely gray. To bad I like your wheels. I have the same front lip, and red stitching, so they must have been options.

I own an SE also, the best way to tell is by looking at the bottom of the front air dam directly in front of the front wheels - see that "notch"? Only available in the SE package. That is the SE front air dam extension.
Looks pretty sick, IMO!

if its a 6 speed and its black, its an MR SE. someone just made off with the original wheels. take a pic of the side of the seats, so we can see the stitching more clearly
thats funny cause i had that notch when i bought mine, and mine is not an SE.
