bought my WW evo X gsr today!
totally exited. this is to replace my last evo, an 8 that was stolen last year. amazingly these cars hold thair value so well that i was able to buy a new one for about what the insurance payd me for the last one.
just wanted to know how many miles i need to put in it before i can redline/launch? ive kept it below 4500 but its KILLING me.
feedback appreciated, pics to be up soon!

If I were to trade my IX MR for a X today, the wicked white GSR would be the choice for me also. I like mine all simple and in base version....no nav system, no extra distractions...Just me and the car, that's all. All the best.
thanks and yea gsr base is definatly the best value IMO because it dosnt have the overpriced features and it comes with a smaller spoiler. I mean i loved my last car but these new ones just look some much cleaner!
The new X looks more upscale and more mature. Majority of the random public would choose the looks of the your X over my IX MR....But hardcore driving enthusiasts would choose to differ. The IX is much more sharper looking, much more meaner looking, and it looks more of a pure and simple driver's car....And it is. I have test driven your X GSR and it's much more comfortable to drive and the shifts are less frantic. The steering wheel of the X has less communication towards the driver compared to the IX, and the X's steering wheel is more softer and plushy. Don't get me wrong, but the X is very nice and it was worth me considering to trade up my IX for it, but my IX MR is just more raw and more fun to drive. Don't worry....You still have an excellent choice in your Wicked White X GSR. I would have no regrets if I got it...It's a very nice car, especially in that trim and color. You ROCK!

I dont do it exactly like this b/c of clutch break-in etc, but I do follow alot of the same guidelines. Accel and Decel are very important, oil changes, and changing engine speeds..
some like this method, others don't. Can't set the rings really well driving like grandma under zero load. lol.

Congradulations on your new X. Enjoy it. Keep in mind when launching it though that one thing that hasn't changed from VIII's and IX's is the weak clutch
.
This wasn't a thread a to debate things. As I say the exact opposite of what you just said. The X looks way better / meaner and is more fun to drive.
