gsx >< evo?

Ok, well I'll be in the market for a new car pretty soon as soon as I sell the one I have now (97 eclipse gs-t) and I was looking at a lot of GSXs and Evos. Now my question is which do you guys think is a beter bang for the buck. Both have the 4g63 and both are awd. I know the Evo is going to be newer and probally with alot less miles but I can pick up a bad *** 1999 Gsx for under 10k and stock Evos go for double that. So with money not being a factor and based soley on preformance which one do you guys think i should start looking at more?

Well you can get a GSX to run just has hard as an Evo. The GSX as you've already said is a lot cheaper to begin with. I had a 94 Talon Tsi AWD and I sold it to get an Evo because I needed a back seat so I could fit actual adults. My Talon had virtually no room in the back. I wish I could have kept the Talon and I would have rebuilt the motor into a stroker, added a bigger turbo, ect...... In the end I'm happy to be able to now bring more than one other person comfortably in my Evo.

Yeah the backseat is one of the reason im looking into getting an Evo over my gst or getting a gsx. Ill be going away to college in the fall and just dont think the tiny backseat of the eclipse is going to cut it anymore, i can barley fit my 110 pound little brother back there.

Evo's provide a greater sense of security. They are more dependable but yes more expensive. And +1 on the seats. It's really awesome to have a fast car as well can also get groceries, run errands, and use it as a daily driver.

The EVO is basically a newer, more advanced GSX...

I've had both a 95 gst and gsx and going to an Evo was the best decision I ever made.
