ams, buschur,or ets intercooller whats the best.
Nobody still answerd my question out of the there what's the better one.Don't know about ets anymore dynoflash did test against buschur's intercooler and the ets failed big time the buschur made 40 whp over the ets core plus alot less heat soak.
Buschur Race intercooler is very good in my opinion. Everytime I'm at the dyno the tuner asks what kind of intercooler I have because my air intake temps stay so low. he doesnt look at it or anything beforehand either that I know of.

Really? Interesting.. Do you happen to have a link to the test?
dynoflash has a vid on youtube testing both intercooler's the ets was a 4inch core the buschur was the deluxe core 3.5 inch and the smaller buschur made more power and less heat soak watch the vid for you self the customer with the evo was not to happy about the ets core.
That "test"/video are both unfortunately a fabrication, significant stretching of the truth and a misrepresentation. I'm surprised that more of their customers are not appalled by the decision to produce and support such farce
We were disappointed to see several parties we have great respect for promoting something of that nature, but such is the case.
The intercooler we built for Suman used a 4.5" Garrett core by his custom request. The test in question is supposed to indicate that by removing a 4.5" ETS Garrett core intercooler and replacing it with a 4" Buschur Garrett core intercooler that performance is night and day. I'm not sure if they just didn't realize that the intercooler supplied by us didn't use ETS core or they somehow thought that the Garrett core we used was fake (this was mentioned in the video), but the facts about the intercoolers in question and the test results effectively proves that the entire thing is falsified.
Here are my posts in response to that issue:
Hope this clears the air

I'm surprised that you guys didn't notice that the ETS intercooler to which you're comparing your Race core was built for Suman by request with the same Garrett core used in your Race intercooler. The only difference is that his core was a 4.5" thick version, rather than the 4" you spec for your cooler.
Seems a bit odd to us that an honest test would show disimilar results given the fact that the core is the nearly identical and from the same manufacturer

The intercooler we custom made for this customer (Suman) per his request did use a Garrett core, that's the point
ETS core is only available in 4" and 5" thicknesses and the 4.5" intercooler we custom built for Suman used a Garrett part number 703522-6005 which is a 24x12x4.5". Here's a link to Garrett's catalog for reference:

We purchase our Garrett core exclusively from authorized distributors (ATP Turbo and Precision Turbo & Engine). I'm not sure what markings on the core are being referred to in the video to indicate that we used fake Garrett core, but here is a picture of genuine Garrett core taken directly from Precision Turbo & Engine's website for reference as well:

I cannot watch the video here at work but I believe what Tom is saying.. Since he was the one to ship out the core for testing purposes. Are there any real tests Tom between your cores and other cores from other vendors?
There hasn't been a comprehensive legitimate test of all of the ICs back to back in a controlled environment and I can't say that we plan to produce such a test. It's not in our nature to start a war or bash another's product, rather we just defend ourselves against slander. Also just to clarify, we didn't ship an intercooler for any type of testing, rather we sold a custom Garrett 4.5" intercooler to a customer who then allowed his EVO to be the subject of the "test" and video in question.
We do have plans for a significant amount of product testing as it slows down for winter this season (but we're still struggling to stay on top of orders at present
) to end any vendor speculation about the performance of our products, not that that hasn't been done numerous times with sponsored cars and in customer hands
