Im wondering what type of feed back i would get from this question

I have $24,000 saved up and have decided to put $12,000 for a down payment on my first home. now im only looking at 12,000

What cars would you guys be interested in if you had a price range of $10,000-14,000

i ve been looking into the SRT-4s

anyone have any ideas or what you would go with and why.

New Smart is $13k.
A bit bigger, I'd also consider the Fit or maybe a slightly used Civic LX or a Mazda 3.
