Ok, you want me to "trust you" because you "heard" so many crazy internet stories.. yet I've experienced them first hand ? Yeah, ok. You only hear about bad things about a company on the Internet, rarely good stuff. They gave me an estimate of 2 weeks it was here in 4 days, perfect condition.

But yeah, I'll trust you, with your third hand stories that are definitely not exaggerated at all, over personal experience.

One data point is not enough to place trust in shipping your brand new $30k+ car. There are hundreds of stories on DAS on this site alone. Some are good, but most aren't. Even the worst company in the world can get things right every now and again.

For example: http://www.epinions.com/reviews/hmgd...Moving_Service (2.5/5 Stars)

http://www.epinions.com/reviews/hmgd...Moving_Service (4.5/5 Stars)

So much for "you only hear bad, never the good" eh?

I'm not saying DAS is inherently bad and they never get cars there in good shape, which they obviously do, just that their record is not good enough to trust with an expensive, brand new car.

dealerships are dying out there right now. You should have all the chips on your side. I know you have little credit history but I think if you really haggle you may get that 0% apr.

Have you received a quote from your shipper?

The reason I ask is the DAS is very inexpensive relative to most (you get what you pay for). If it's going to cost you $1,000+ to ship, keep that figure in mind when you are talking to the dealer.

FYI, I picked up a GSR for "southcoast" pricing w/ 0% financing with no money down here in PA on Wednesday, and the dealer didn't blink an eye. Six months ago, they would have laughed.

You have the "powa"

haha, yeah mitsu loans are a little messed up, I just got a letter from one dealership saying i got denied for a mitsu loan that i never subjected myself to at a dealership i didnt end up buying my car from. I got the letter yesterday, and I bought my car over a week and a half ago from a completely different dealership!!! haha, I heard that because of the financial crisis we are in that they arent basing the loans completely off of credit score, lol, i thought that was a fun laugh. anyways Congrats on the X hope you love it as much as I love mine!!!!

Dont buy any "bolt on" performance mods till the dust settles, people are getting huge gains just from tunes, gains that dont improve with aftermarket parts.

I'd say leave it stock and get a tune for now. tunes are good for up to 100ish whp

Getting mods to help the car breath better when it is tuned is NOT a bad idea.

that's kinda misleading don't you think? Most completely stock tune only X's are in the 40-55whp gain area. If the 100ish whp you're referring to is zChip based then you need to up and hold the boost too (EBC or MBC).

To the OP congrats on getting approved in this crappy economy and enjoy your new whip when you get it . It's a fun car (regardless of what some 8/9 owners have been commenting), and I too have it as my first AWD, first turbo, and it's even my first stick for that matter.
