new to evom
hey boys and girls how ya going ?
New to this site so i thought id say hello . Live in Australia and am a member of evolutionoz and then got directed to this site as well . I picked up a Silver 8MR about 6 months ago and still loving every second of it . I used to own a 06wrx mildly modded but got sick of that and moved onto bigger and better things .
Dont some light mods including Turbo XS TBE , CAI , AVO bov , Crower 272 cams ,
AVCR EBC and a custom tune . Currently making 224atw on 98RON .
Planning on doing some minor work in the future . new injectors , 20G turbo and
some cam gears , as well as new springs and perhaps new wheels . Cheers

, yeh id say 224kw atw is similar to 300hp .
However , im not to sure on the difference on the fuel :s
I'm running 23psi tapering down to 21 at redline , car feels strong for now .
Although ive read quite a bit on the meth and water injection allowing the engines to run more boost safer .
As for Turbo XS , they are known as a decent quality company in oz , round about the middle to high mark in terms of how many ppl go with there products .
Im currently looking at upgrading the turbo . Im not sure which one to go for however . Ive heard alot about the Garret turbos . Looking for awesome midrange with great pull from down low but doesnt drop off under 7000rpm .
