Hey how many miles were on your WRX? Regardless of my mods I feel like even with 54,8xx miles on the odometer I should be able to get around 15-16 for my car as well. People on NASIOC are telling me 11-12k which I'm quite shocked by. Another factor that I think will contribute to me getting around the 15-16 area is that I'm in CT and people love AWD in this state. I seem to notice that WRXs/STis sell for more around the New England/Snowy areas than they do in warmer climates.

EDIT:lol, didn't even see that you were from CT as well.

I used to own an 06 wrx. I obviously made the better choice and bought an EVO 9...never looked back. I LOVE the car. $20,000 sounds like a fair price for that mileage. Hope it all works out for you! BTW...do you post on CTSUBIE? Just saw you were in CT so figured there was a possibility.

I have an account on CTSubie and posted a few times there, but I post regularly on CTSubaru. As for $20,000 being fair, I still have yet to see the car, though hopefully tomorrow I will be. I feel like I could talk the price down a little more though even if the car is clean.

I have to say. I have had the chance to own both suby and I now have an evo. The cars are two different beasts. The STI is a great car. But the evo is so much more easier to mod and cheaper. It is really a all around car. You won't be disappointed.

Oh yea. And I bought my car slighty modded with 55k an it. I now have 79k with no issues. Since I have put full exhaust and a greddy fmic and the car drives like a bat out of hell.

i just sold the car today to a kid in mass for 16k with those mods listen on page 1. dont listen to the people on nasioc. you can definetly get 15k for your car. part out as much as possible though to make some extra cash. im trying to find an 03 evo with low miles which is tough because its 5 years old and im in kind of a rush because i have to borrow my parents car now. i am extremely sad i sold my car right now but im sure when the evo is sitting in my driveway the smile will come back to my face like everytime i went outside saw my ride!
