Ok I thought about this quite a bit. And I'm still undecided whether I really want to mod my Evo. I think the most practical mod for me to do is catless Turboback with a cobb AP and maybe intake. Other than that, I'm pretty happy and satisfied with the already stock setup with my current evo.

Here whats important to know if you want to build the motor of the sti it will cost you twice as much as a evo. The sti motor can only rev to 8k safly maybe even less, and the gear ratios in the sti are much shorter than evo gears, which makes the sti hard to break into the 10's unless you have alot of money to spend.

Forget going for a ten second car. If thats all your after than get a hatch with sleeved GSR and boost it into oblivion! Cheap, easy, and not wasting anything.

Take that Evo out to any backroad and just do a solo run. After five years owning my Evo, that is still my favorite aspect of the Evo. The Evo OWNS the back/curvy/hairpin roads.
