Satisfied Brakes sells the pads directly online. Rest can be had via vendors here.

i like my Porterfield RS4 pads- had 4 track days with them and work great- not too noisy around town and work great for street- +1 for motul fluid and stainless lines- i run slotted rotors, and like most have said would not recommend drilled

Alright, so if you look earlier in this thread, you'll see that I got the Brembo rotors installed. I like em. Used the ATE super blue fluid with Stoptech upgraded SS brake lines. Liked that stuff too. There was a super squishy pedal feel. I went back to the shop and turns out, they didn't bleed the inside bleeder valves, only the outside ones. Guess they weren't used to the sweet Brembo calipers with bleeder valves on both sides. Anyway, they bled the interior and exterior valves and now it stops awesome. so, the stopping is great, but holy mother of crap these pads are loud. I'm talking Air Raid Siren, 18-wheeler loud. I stop in a parking lot and everyone's looking. Funny thing is that it's only when I brake lightly to slow down. Under hard braking or even medium, they're quiet... So, I've got a new question now. Is this a pad or install problem??? I know, i was warned in this thread against the Hawk HPS, but dang! I didn't think they could be that loud. Someone said they might be "glazed over." What is that? Thanks for any help.

Glazed over means that the pad material, instead of biting, more or less hardens/melts into a rock. If you take a look at the pads off the car, they might look mirrored as mine did.

Did you shim or use the orange brake squeal stuff?

I embarassed to say this, but I don't know. I had the brakes done at the shop because I just don't have the time to do the work on the evo myself like I'd like to. Does the 9 have the shims like the 8? I know they used the lubricant that came with the hawk pads. I can have a look to see if the shims are still in when I take it back to the shop.

Yes, 8 and 9 pads/shims are the same.
