I believe the RS also has a titanium-magnesium turbine as compared to the normal IX's. Your turbo will spool up even sooner--that's sweet. Also cause I have an IX. Check VIN numbers too for any outstanding warranty claims.

03 has hid and doesnt have acd which gave my boy hell when pump went .power windows is a + when hollaring at the ladies you dont want ebrake handle on ribs.also going around making sure all doors are locked is a pita too.road noise is an issue to look at.

i personally would get the 03 cause of the hid pwr windows, but the rs is more rare than a regular evo 9 but it is up to u

that 06 is a damn good deal man. no way i could sya no to that. good miles, and ww is alsways a nice color to have. plus the engine is better...and thats coming from me who has a 04 evo 8 tb.....

your giving up more luxury's on the 06 RS then you think. If you dont mind a loud harsh ride then go for it. I say wait and find a GSR IX. If your questioning between an 03 and 06 you have a lot more research to do.

06 for sure! Thats a great price for an RS. I wouldn't expect them to have it around very long.
