Gotta weigh the pro's and con's and decide what meets your needs. I'd personally take the IX RS, especially for the price, but if I was daily driving it I'd take a non-RS. The 03 doesn't have the ACD headache as pointed out, but then again you have to look at the advantage of the ACD and decide whether the extra expense if it breaks is worth it. The RS also doesn't have ABS or rear wiper, both of which are nice to have on a car that sees alot of street use.

Nice! Can one look forward to another riveting thought?

Seeing how you plug it at every opportunity and beg for folks to buy it, your assertion makes no sense.

Here is the thread:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ues-again.html

Here is your post:

"Yeah I thought it had a clearcoat on it. Trust me bro.. I take VERY good care of my car. I hardly ever really get on it... except on roads where there isn't a bunch of rocks and bumps and such and when I do, i'm not going crazy fast. I slow down EVERY single time I go over any sort of rocks or where there is road maintenance ( which is a lot of it in this town ). I have only used the buffer on that one spot just to get the wet sanding marks out from fixing the chips... i'm actually afraid to use it to be honest. "

Clearly, that's a lie, as illustrated in your own words right above.

]You mean the DA machine that you bought after you damaged the paint, and asked about using it to buff your seats (!) ? Would you like me to link that, too?

You have been quoted verbatim with thread references. IOW, you've been caught.

Good audio doesn't have to cost much. You, OTOH, took the easy way out and bought crap. Given that, there's no reason to think the same notion doesn't apply to the rest of the car.

So much for not caring is a member buys your car. Would you like to try again, instead of backpedaling?

Your paint is damaged, as was already illustrated. Next?

Can you name one reason why that claim is to be believed, given the pure BS above?

You were the one who asked the question, and now you're crying, because you don't like being shown to be a liar. You asked for it, so live with the consequences.

I don't know why you're supposedly laughing, as everything that was said was illustrated in your own words.

Happy New Year!
all of what you said about my car is fine... i'm not going to argue about it anymore and hijack the guys thread. I'll just say I like how when I called you out about making your comment that he shouldn't buy an X you put no facts to back it up and still have not done so.. congrats on getting way off topic Ignorance really is bliss I guess.

Why are you spinning this? Do you actually think that folks are unable to read what was said? Given your inability to reply directly, diverting the string of posts, one would have to be an utter imbecile not to see through it. Worse, your denials have been shown to be false in your own words. Tell me, which word in the English language describes an individual who asserts a claim that he knows isn't true? The record stands whether you like it or not.

Thanks guys, I really appreicite ur help. Now I am still a noob in Evo knowledge. What's the difference in the regular Evo GSR motor and the MIVEC motor. What are the specifics? What are the horsepower numbers, horsepower capabilities, differences, similarities, etc...for each car?......besides the obvious GSR and RS reasons.

There is really nothing to consider between the two of them. The 2006 is the way to go and if you are buying it with cash in hand that would be even better.

i say the 03. if i was going to buy an 06 it wouldn't be an RS. I'm sorry but no power locks and windows wouldn't work for me as a DD. Plus i love my sunroof and Hids

03 48k vs 06 39k
9.6 a yr vs 20k a yr

I was faced with a similar situation and i bought the 03 because it had less miles per year.
