What about GSC S1s they don't need upgraded springs and retainers.

No they don't. Not sure if that was your question though. Or are you stating that ppl that do not upgrade, should run those cams?

cosworth m2 cams,with stock springs will do the trick as long as you don't go past 8,000 rpms you won't float a valve or fp4r cams a also great,and they have a beehive sring cam combo for added sarty.

let me ask a noob question and not make a new thred , why do ppl get 272 and not 280?doesnt that give more power ?if not what are the diffrents between the numbers?they are the cam shafts sizes right?

The bigger the cams usually the crappier the idle, more pwr topend and more race track of a car. 272's are still street and idle friendly.

so ppl dont put 280 because of the idle sound?i thought you guys care about power over idle sound more lol

It's harder to have the car idle with aggressive cams and you do need upgraded springs and at times dual springs. Also, 280's are more for top-end power, less useable power in the street.
What do you mean by "you guys"? Americans?

just got my kelford 272s put in but it isnt tuned, you can hear the cam lope but driving it so far is good, I am probably going to be tuned on the weekend. btw i am on stock springs and retainers with my rev limiter below 8k
