Selling the car! Okay, in all honestly probably the coolest, most fun, best bang for the buck mod I ever did to the Evo was buying take-off slicks. 50 dollars a tire, lasted 4 HPDEs, made me faster than... well... pretty much almost everyone else that weren't using slicks, including a stock Carrera GT.

Slicks that have been taken off. AKA very very slightly used slicks. We got ours (my dad and I both got sets) from Porsche Cup race cars' front tires. They take them off so much that they are usually barely used at all. Great deals can be found if you find a good hookup and have the right sized wheels.

Haven't been into track racing much have you? Don't roll your eyes at me.

Edit: The ones I bought for 50 a tire were take-offs from a local Evo racing crew, the Porsche cup ones lasted longer and were higher quality, and were 100 a tire.
