Evo 10 or S2K CR

Hey guys i use to have a VIII well i was out of the game for about a year now and i just wanted to see what u guys thought about the 2. i know its a evo site trust me but i test drove both and i got the CR. The 10 just felt so hevy and not fast to me and i could not find a VIII or 9 close to me. Well here is a couple of pics. And the CR is more rare than the 10 thanks for any comments guys

Nice car, congrats. You're right about the rarity, I don't think I've seen a CR S2k around.

Um, what's the point of this thread? The title seems like you're asking for advice between getting a X or S2k CR. But seeing how you already bought the S2k....

Or the picture you posted is just of a CR, and you do not yet own one.

In this case, one car is a 2-door convertible, one is a 4-door sedan. Do you want a convertible or a sedan? That's basically what it boils down to.

I don't understand the point of your thread. The title is misleading. If you already bought the CR then why is there a question?

Nice car though.

Nice car but you said the X didn't feel fast then you then you go out and buy an S2K which is a pretty slow car for the money.

I did buy it just wanted to see what you guys would have gone for and what you like about both. I just felt the 10 was not my taste but the S2k just felt right.

Yellow CR looks super hot! Congrats man. I know how you feel about the Evo feeling heavy. I've been looking at Xs and STis and they feel HUGE compared to my current car.

Had a 2000 black S2k while back, wound up my dad's race car for quite awhile (turbo'd and gutted, with a roll cage and a welded on gutted hardtop. Thing was insane.) really sad that he sold it.

S2k is sexier, more fun to drive

the evo X is fat. its slow from factory, but it responds extremely well since its really restricted from the factory.

it all depends on what YOU are looking for in car. i plan on getting a s2k in the future as a second car. i feel its too impractical for me to have as the only car since its a 2 seater...the 4 door, 5 seater, awd evo 9 won me over. s2k has to wait

nice color! how much was it? I was thinking the same thing after my IX but decided to go with an AP1 and then the X...

S2K are really fun but my AP1 never had enough power to compare with my previous evo stage 1+...

hows your CR? is it producing more power?

If I was single without I doubt I would have bought an S2K in Pearl Yellow. But I have a wife and kid to drive around and I cannot afford 2 cars. I wanted something a little faster then my previous car, so I went for the X. Actually, the 0% financing is what got me to buy the X. I wasnt even considering getting an Evo. I was actually researching the X for a friend of mine who has an IIIV, but in the end I was the one that ended buying the car. How funny is that? Still, if by any chance I manage to get $30k in AC before the end of the year I will definitely get an S2K.
