Those are the VIII Enkeis. Trust me I would be confused too if I were new to the car, and saw all that VIII stuff on it lol .

You got an awesome deal on a IX SE, and would honestly not even sweat the stuff missing with the amount you saved. If you wanted to put it back to a IX you could do so pretty easily and it wouldn't be too expensive. Check the classifieds here, and you could scoop plenty of the things up used in great condition (and sell everything you have, you'd spend almost nothing).
Yeah, I thought the price ($19K) was pretty good for the car after talking it down from $22K. The mileage was at 30k. I don't care much about putting back all of the IX parts back onto the car since this is supposed to be my daily driver and I actually do enjoy the car as it sits right now (except for the rims, which I will be switching very soon!). Again, thanks a lot for the input and helping me determine what my car really is.

looks like a 9 with 8 parts, still a sweet deal for a 9 with those miles.

And you got the best color so congrats and enjoy

Wow great find for the money. Like the person above stated should be easy to find and replace the swapped parts, if you choose.

Yeah, I love the car, and I always wanted to get into a black car again after my first car. Although it's the hardest to maintain, I still think it looks the best when it has been freshly waxed. My problem is that, now that I have the EVO, I want to modify it more than my 350Z.

While I was reading this post I thought to myself this would be a great car to start a sleeper build.

Haha that's what usually happens (especially when you're comparing modding to a 350z no offense, but these cars can be made ridiculously fast with a minimal amount of $, Z's to my knowledge, are pretty expensive just to be made "quick").

Ain't that the truth. Just buying basic bolt-ons for my Z has cost me thousands of dollars (i.e. my exhaust, the GReddy EVO2, for my Z was $1200, whereas the EVO could have the Ti-C or HKS Hi-power for less than half that...).

All indications are pointing to a IX SE so far.

how do you know its an aluminum roof? and as for the mr dv it could have been swaped very easily just like everything else was and the rs models come with alm rooms too i know then only come in white/red but we never counted out an accident

i was not trying to say it was a viii, i was saying it has viii parts on it..

Because he said it has the ridges lol. No such thing as MR DV on the IX's either, sorry. RS doesn't come in that color (and wouldn't have painted mirrors either) . Either way you look at it, I was right haha.
