Can't agree with you more. The lack of a 6th gear is a huge disapointment. I have not done a lot of high speed cruising in my 350 miles so far with the x, but come on, this thing needs a 6th gear. I hope they fix this issue for 2010.

That being said, I love my X too. There are things that I want or miss from my other cars (ie, telescoping wheel, steering wheel audio, heated mirrors).

The one thing that really bugs me is my allignment. My wheel is 5 degrees off from center with 350 miles on it. I can't figure this one out. I bought it with 10 miles on the odo and did not notice it during the test drive (it probably was there though). $36K and its not alligned from the factory!!

 

ccd2us - alignment is included in the 12k mile adjustment period. Take it back to the dealer and ask them to check it out.

 

yeah i traded in my 04 wrx for an 06 evo MR i have been very happy so far but the subaru was so reliable i hope the evo is the same
