I did search...but have a few beginner questions.

I went to test drive an Evo X today, and all i can say is WOW. My current car is a 2006 cobalt ss supercharged with full exhaust, intake, 60lb injectors, 2.8" pulley (17psi) and a tune. I love my cobalt...but i really want an all wheel drive turbo car. I fell in love with the X as soon as details and pics were released of it years ago. I drove one for the first time today and fell deeper in love with it. However, i do have some questions...

Does this car seriously NOT have auto headlights? the one i drove had the sight, sound and spoiler package, so it has the HID projectors...but i only saw the typical headlight switch...didn't notice anything for auto. If they aren't auto lights, can you just leave the switch ON and they will turn off automatically?

Also, what are some monthly payments people are making on these things? i want to see if i can get in on the 0% while it's available...but i'm just trying to get an idea of payments.

What are people paying for 2008 X's out the door? salesman today was trying to put some numbers together for me based on MSRP. I have yet to tell him that I do not pay MSRP for a car. The true market value in my area for a GSR with sport, sound and spoiler package, roughly 35,550 MSRP is 32, 872. What are some out the door figures i can use to counter offer the ridiculous MSRP?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

No auto headlights. However, they do turn off automatically when you open the door after turning the car off.

You don't want to know what my monthly payment is....

well hey, if they turn off when you open the door, i would imagine i would just leave them ON at all times...and then they'll be on when i need them. Thanks for the reply.

The Evo X has Daytime Running Lights [drl's], so they already are on all the time. Either you have your HID's on or your drl's are on.

monthly payment is going to vary greatly depending on the financed price. I am paying 465 with GAP insurance.
