Im sure anything is possible. You should call your local dealer, nobody better to ask than them. Also keep in mind in this economy car dealers are having alot of encentives and rebates.

Not to be a jerk or anything, its your money. But I don't understand why people lease cars, what are the benefits? Driving a car that's not yours. I'm asking respectfully, not being a smart@$$, because I'm not sure of the process. The dealer asked if I wanted to lease my lancer when I bought it 2 weeks ago and I said hell nah, plus the payments were more than owning the car(even though I technically dont have full ownership till its paid off) Repo men

I agree but i did read an article recently as to why it may actually be a better idea to lease right now. I personally wouldnt want to lease especially an Evo because the urge to mod it is just to strong and I imagine the dealership wouldn't want to based on the fact that selling an Evo that prospective buyers know was beaten up for the life of a lease may not be ideal. So my first question would be is a lease even possible? Good luck either way though man an Evo is an experience that must be had in life lol.

yes u can definitely lease a new Evo with 0 down. dealers are overstocked with X's, and are otherwise desperate for sales... plus, the banks are eager to start landing again (which shouldnt be a problem to begin with, if u have excellent credit).

just make sure that the dealer doesnt simply throw the "would-be downpayment" amount back into the monthly payments. its called "cap cost reduction". the trick is, first, they tell u there is a down-payment, then they say they will take it off, but all they do is just factor it into the monthly payments (which adds interest on top of it).

leasing is a simple process, but can be tricky... it has many benefits, and i always preferred it to financing!

u can PM me for any Q's

yes there are several websites where people trade leases.... u can pick one up with barely any time left, or with several years still left on the lease... also, people give incentives...

but with dealers and banks being desperate now, perhaps u can get a great deal on a brand new lease. some banks offer nearly 0 money factor - i.e. nearly 0% interest (which is not unheard of in "financing", but shocking on a "lease")
