My problem is strictly when the car is warmed up and the clutch is pressed in, otherwise everything runs as expected. I hope that the problem is found tommorrow so I can go on with enjoying my new car.

How sure are you? And cold is ok, its when the engine warms up that it the idle has trouble with the clutch pressed in. Also what BOV would be a good replacement that would fit on the Injen pipes?

Anyone know what a good replacement for the BOV would be that would fit on the Injen pipe if that indeed turns out to be the problem?

Got a call from the mechanic and he said that theres nothing wrong with the engine other than needing a new air filter. Possibly the clutch throw out bearing, but he wasnt sure. Anyone have any other thoughts? As far as the BOV comment goes, any suggestions for replacements? Would that BOV I currently have really cause a problem like this?

Edit: Also, are there any wires or electronics involved with the clutch itself? I noticed a red wire unpluged near the fuses when I was fixing the cigarette lighter fuse and wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Edit 2: Does anyone have any experience with this: HKS Electronic Idle Stabilizer - Lancer Evolution VIII http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...113&page=&js=n

I honestly have no idea what to do. The mechanic said I might just have to live with it, but that doesnt sound right. Anyone?

This leads me to believe that then Im looking at needing to ditch the BOV for a IX MR BOV or it might be my clutch/throw out bearing . Anyone ever have a clutch/throw out bearing cause the car to idle poorly when the clutch is pressed in?

So I talked with AMSperformance from Chicago today, and they said this sounds like early symptoms of crankwalk. I havent even had the car a week and Im about to tear all my hair out

Edit: I talked with P&L Motorsports of Chicago and they think it sounds like a tuning issue. Has Anyone had any experience with either of these tuners? Does crankwalk happen with Evos? I know it does with the 2G Eclipses.

Please help me, this is a complete nightmare!!!!!
