injen purchase
I have the Injen full hard pipe kit on my IX. No issues with fitment, no issues with hot side lower ic pipe blowing off. The only thing that took a little finess for this install was the removal of the front bumper clip and getting the upper pipe that runs into the throttle body to match up with the lower cold side ic pipe. IMO I think Injen should have included better clamps, and extended the length of the hose that connects the two pipes mentioned above. The kit you are looking at will require a retune to work properly. Due to the shape of the filter and the size of the intake your MAF is gonna be like WTF and then your ECU is gonna be like I dunno know!
If you are looking for cheap mods to get some power out of your baby get these:
1) 255 LPH fuel pump around 80 dollars
2) Test pipe cat delete around 100 dollars
3) Manual boost controller around 100 dollars
4) Tactrix cable, Ecu Flash, and mail in flash about 300 dollars depending on who you go with for the tune (mellon, 4ws, ams,)
5) Wideband O2 optional but highly recomended about 250 dollars
So for about 830 dollars you should be smokin mo fos left and right.
