2005 electric blue with GT30R and AEM EMS

Heres my 2005 with factory ACD, full peakboost GT30R kit with Tial 44mm wastegate, custom radiator pipe, AEM EMS, Trust Ti-R exhaust, HKS SSQV, Magnacor wires, Chargespeed body kit, VIS carbon hood, 5 Zigen FN01R-C hot version wheels, soon to be added a set of buddy club cams, and HKS cam gears, and a Zaklee clear cam cover, Snow performance methanol, and final tune.

Its going to AMS on May 8th for the final tune. I was told to expect 500-550 awhp from AMS with what I have. Right now on a VERY safe and conservative tune it makes 419 awhp on 19 psi.

Yep, XS engineering. Actually looking at a little deeper one like a 4''-4 1/2'' deep one from somewhere else if I go through with the AMS 2.3 stroker motor. Only time will tell. I kind of wanting to keep it as my daily driver as I have 4 other cars that dont get drove that much, but who knows.......

Well all done at AMS. Final #'s were 450 hp and 404 tq. We actually had to wind up re-tuning it after the first tune at 550ish hp due to low end driveability on the street. It was hard to go from stoplight to stoplight due to the way the ignition map was set to get that power. Still really fun.

the main difference now is the actual curve of power. It is way more linear and comes on alot stronger and faster. The car can actually make right around 600 hp but being a stock block, stock tranny, and having a easy to drive clutch in it it would not advisable to go much higher.

oh ok, I've seen a little 500HP on the stock block with no problems. the Sti's block can handle 600HP internally stock wise it can handle 400 HP safely, anything above 500HP and above will need to be sleeved. But then again if you have the right tune you can get by with just about anything really.
