You can look into getting a Lancer Cedia lid. Same trunk, no wing. Might be cheap too. Don't know about availability in the US though.

yes you can paint cf. you just need to wetsand the clear coat so the paint will adhear.

Yeah go and put .40 cent plugs in a $25,000+ car. That's almost as bad as buying a nice set of $3,500 Volk wheels and putting $40 nankang or wanli tires on them.

you can buy a stock rs trunk from Mitsubishiparts.net for $350

so ya if you wanna go the cheap route plugging up the holes with the option of running your wing again, go with the nylon hole plugs. save your money for performance parts.
