From what I have heard and witnessed. The stock IX DV is perfect for the Evo for a good number of PSI so why waste the money.

Stock IX DV FTW.

I remember testing my greddy bov several years ago and it held high boost pretty well. Stock 9 bov leaks at 25-26psi. Its garbage for anyone who actually runs decent amounts of boost but I head of people running it backwards or crushing it.

Type S leaks above 20 psi.

Stick with your stocker. At least you don't have a plastic one like us XIII's got stuck with.

My old type s would hold 30+psi without leaking. Yours was prolly blown out. My stock IX also holds 30, but I crushed it a little bit.

Stock ix is obviously quiet and I think it has better drivability due to it semi-opening under part throttle boost/shifting.

You must've had a factory freak...there's plenty of Type S owners that would testify to the leaking above 20psi

Its probably the fact that like 80% of them blow out, and mine didnt somehow... But I have another one sitting next to me atm that is blown. Thats why I'm back to using the stock one.

But when the Type-S works right, it works pretty well and it sounds cool
