2006 RS headlights

2006 RS headlights

My main question is, would a MR or SE HID headlights fit an RS model? I got an RS and having stock headlight is really dissappointing.. So I purchased an MR Headlights and I am not sure if theres going to be wiring issue with this..Please help!!

Yes, MR housings can be installed in an RS. You just need to do some wiring for the low/high beams and install a switch and relay for your fogs.

You have to buy an Hid kit or undertake an extremely difficult wiring of the stock Hid ballasts.

The HID hookup to the MR housings is extremely easy. You just need to splice your existing wiring harness on the back of your GSR housings to the wiring harness on your new MR housings. Then they will be plug and play to the wiring harness connector in the car. You will not have headlight adjustment from inside the car, which I don't find necessary anyway.

the headlights that i have is of an MR model that has HID setup. it came from a wrecked 05 MR. Thanks for the fast response guys.. I have been looking for some answers for quite a while..Thanks again.

BTW I have an RS model..

Yeah puttin the HIDs in isnt too bad I did it with my RS takes a lil work but not too bad
