i need stock brembo rear torque specs please!

i have searched somehow i got the from caliper torque as 85 but not sure if the rear is the same.... i started and it felt like it might be too much so i want to make sure the caliper torque for the 2 bolts on the rear is 85ft lbs

you dont need no exact torque spec on that...ive done plenty of caliper swaps on 240's and used the impact gun and never had a problem

For the IX:
Front brake assembly mounting bolt 108 ± 10 N⋅m (80 ± 7 ft-lb)
Rear brake assembly mounting bolt 54 ± 5 N⋅m (40 ± 4 ft-lb)

You do realize the calipers are aluminum, you can strip a hole more easily on these than some other calipers... Also, over torquing can lead to over stressing components and possibly cracking something like a bolt, there is a reason for torque specs.

ya over tightening and impact gun is ignorant on something aluminum and definatly on a saftey item like brakes. i'm a cat mechanic and i know from experience theres certain things/ most things you do by torque of your arm and hand but things like this need a torque spec thanks for the specs

I did the same and destroyed my rear caliper... gotta have it rethreaded/sleeved

Proper Torque Spec on any Bolt is a must. Sure they will hold after you blast them in with an Impact but it weakens the Bolt actually causing a possible unsafe condition where the Bolt is allowed to stretch, fatigue and break.

You should do some research on the effects of over Torquing Bolts.
