Not enough power!! How much more do I need to spend!!??

Well I had the evo for half a year now, got the boltons done, suspension wheels etc. Used to feel like the fastest thing out there, but now feels slow! Im not leaking boost, boosting 23-24psi and pulling on "everything" out there. But damn, lost the feeling..doesnt feel fast anymore! Ive dumped everything in my previous cars as well but damn, dont wanna end up throwing everything in this one too.
Help! The mod bug bit hard! Cams, larger ic pipe? New tune? Dammit!

A 35R should take care of any power cravings you might have.

when you saw bolt ons what exactly do you mean? tbe, intake, mbc, tune etc? im assuming since you asked about IC and piping you do not have a larger snail. what is your budget, goals for the car, (dd, autoX, road course), and your price range? sorry but in order to make a proper assesment we need more info.

taking a guess, i would say IC (buschur, ets, AMS) upper and lower piping, diverter valve, cams, cam gears, head studs etc should give you some more power before tapping into a larger turbo. also you could consider meth or depending on where you live a map for e-85 to run more boost. of course after that get a bigger turbo and then go from there!

gl with your choices, hope this helps a little bit. let us know what you decide.

So far, full greddy exhaust, hks intake, hks seq bov, mbc, greddyII timer, a whacky tune.
budget is not so good now but can make things happen in a couple of months. I was hoping injectors + new tune would make a nice difference but keep hearing it doesnt make sense to upgrade injectors without turbo upgrade which is weird to me.
Car is a daily driver, planning on tracking it over summer but need it on the street
How does e-85 work with this car? Do you need different tunes you can switch, say e85, 93, 100 octane?

One of the guys at the service center I work at has a IX and was running bolts-ons, a larger turbo (not sure on what), a tune, meth injection, and much more. He was putting out approx. 500whp. Felt the way you feel and up'd to a 35R, 2.3 stroker kit, bigger FMIC, a more aggressive tune and more. Now he's around the 700whp mark...he's not telling anyone the exacts of his build, he likes to keep people guessing, unfortunately for him, I know one of the techs that worked on it at the shop he takes it too so I got some info . But he's MUCH happier now.

ps. his is his daily driver and looks aesthetically stock aside from being wingless, the big FMIC, exhaust, and wheels.

You pretty much have a stock car power wise aside form the MBC and exhaust. Cams and a good tune will make a pretty big difference.

What kind of times are you running? According to your mods, it sounds like your car is pushing low 300+ horsepower to the wheels. I say if you don't want to upgrade your turbo, get cams and a good tune. That will make a worlds difference. If you do want a turbo upgrade and are on a budget, look at the FP Green.

For e-85 all u need is fuel pump bigger injectors and a tune. E-85 is awesome stuff i was sitting 330 then switched and yielded 394.

You can also get like 200 miles a tank on E-85 it's really an issue of how big of a container you can get to store the stuff...

i was going to said go with camshaft and big turbo but since budget is the issue just go with fp red turbo and big injector and a good tune will satisfy your power need you should be around 450whp and the fp red turbo are direct bolt on and are affordable compare to the gt 35r turbo
