Talking New Member : 06 WW Evolution IX MR!

I just bought a wicked white evolution ix mr at a dealer for 22485.00 with 28500 miles and a clean carfax title. I bought it on ebay and it will arrive in a week or 2. I am very excited since Ive been looking for a white evo 9 mr for such a long time now!

I sold my 2007 S2000 Black with 24500 miles for this Evolution. Hopefully no regrets!

Does anyone know if its stock?
The dealer said "To my knowledge it is stock".

Also was the price ok? From what Ive seen a lot of Evo MRs are around this price. I even seen a evo 9 mr go for 29900 in my area. -_-

Here are some pictures taken by the dealer:

looks like an aftermarket blow off valve. Looks like it couldve had other mods before it went to the dealer just because the clamp on the upper intercooler pipe isn't the normal one. The stock clamp is a normal worm clamp but the one shown in the picture is something different. Other than that its hard to tell from the pics.

Either way though, sounds like a good deal to me with the clean title and the relatively low miles. I'm in the D.C. area but just bought my first Evo as well. Been on the forums for a while though and worked with DSM's in the past so I know a bit. Pm me if you have any questions.

Congratulations on the purchase!

Congrats man...car looks good...I really like WW...now to the mods...

I see the windows tinted...odyssey battery, red painted exhaust manifold cover and an aftermarket BOV...its hard to tell by the pic if the BOV vents 100% to the atmosphere or if it is 50/50 and half of its vents back into the intake...Honestly though I wouldn't be worried if all the car has is a BOV...the previous owner was probably 1 of those evo owners that all he wanted was a Loud BOV...Like some of the other guys mentioned above since a local evo guy/girl close to you that is somewhat knowledge able and will be able to tell you what is stock and what is not and what has be taken off and messed with...
