Wouldnt the mounts from Evo 4/5's be sufficient for the 4G63? They come equipped with it, and its the same platform as his 96 GSR..

Auto to manual, pain in the *** but isnt to hard. I;d suggest you to just sell and buy evo OR buy a JDM evo 5 front end and take everything..

I don't figure swapping to manual will be that hard. I'm getting most things out of a scrapped donor vehicles. Gearbox w/ bell housing, flywheel/clutch disc/pressure plate, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder already on gearbox, shifter base, starting motor.

All I need now is the shifter cables, and pedals, which shouldn't be too hard to find out of any Lancer.

Hey guy

Small update on my car, i've decided to stick with the 4G93 platform, i found a manual box for it and am goin to convert it to manual. If anyone has any useful links for the GSR and 4G93 please post. Think after the converstion im gonna slap on a TD05 and see how that works, hoping that it wont be too lagy.

This black 1.8L GSR went on to run 13.8 sec E/T, with the stock TD04, on 15psi, and a quick SAFC2 tune.. .. still automatic.
