Ive done my research and ive already picked out a meth kit. This is a pure opinion thread.

I want meth but am not sure if i want to deal with having to worry about it failing and destroying my engine. i plan on running 50/50 meth/water on an AEM kit

i want 365 whp (useable) if i could reach this power level without meth i would, but am not certain i can.

ive searched all over and cant seem to find someone with this setup making power (365whp+) without meth.

would you use meth or do you think i can make the power i want without meth.
please no flaming, i did my research, this is merely asking for opinions

It could be done on race gas or a simple bolt on turbo upgrade. No meth need apply..

 

 

I do not have meth yet and I am on the stock cams. My car last dynod 370+.


You don't need meth for your goals.

 

im assuming becuase of your mivec system, you were able to make the power)that and a good tuner). im not so sure if its easy to do with non-mivec 4g63's

 

Do you have E85 readily available in your area?

 

Well you have a IX and the op has an VIII, you can attain better horsepower figures with your stock cams and MIVEC.

To the op, with some good tuning, you'll reach your goal. If you use your water/alcohol injection, you'll definitely surpass your goal. Just make sure you use a good failsafe with your injection system if you go that route.

 

unfortunatly E85 hasent reached my area of NJ yet, which sucks becuase i would go that route without hesitation

 

Yeah that does suck...the results have been impressive

 

get a real meth kit, don't go Aem.

 

I believe the AEM kit is great.

why are you not referring to it as "a real meth kit?"

 

Meth is great and all if you have a nearby source, but once you are out, you are out.

Be prepared to check your meth tank daily.

I ran meth for about 5 months before I took it off, meth just wasn't readily available for me. Granted the HP gain was great, but I want pump gas power, not meth power.

 

I've seen plenty of 360-390 hp evos without meth. Find a good tuner.

 

Methanol destroyed my first motor. I would never ever run it again I suggest you save the extra hundreds and purchase an FPred.
