Hey all I have a Question
Hey all,
I been looking to get a evo for awhile now but, I still hold myself from getting one for some time now. I was wounding if any of you would trade in your scion tc 2009 for a evo 7 or a evo 9? I been thinking about this for the last 8 month now lol. Is it worth to trade it in or just to keep the scion tc. Maybe some people could get me something to help me out to choose what to do. Thank to all.

Depends on how you want to do this. Some factors to consider are:
1) If you sell the scion tc private party, do you have other wheels to drive while it sits (assuming you want to keep miles off of it)
2) If you decide to trade it in at a dealership to get an Evo that the dealership might have, how much would they give you etc. etc. (do you feel it's worth it to do)
3) If you decide to take your ride to Carmax and have them buy it (like I did) and can live with the fact that they rape you on what they give you, then you could consider that too.
The big thing here is, how much do YOU really want an Evo? I traded in my WRX to Carmax (took a few k hit on it too) because I wanted an Evo 9. I was willing to make the sacrifice so I did.

it's definitely a big step up, my buddy has a tc with minor work to it.... drove it and it's an entirely different animal. personally yes i would, but i'd test drive the evo before you make up your mind if thats what you want. they're fun cars, but it all matters on your style and what you find in it.
