should i get oem spark plugs or 1 step colder spark plugs? i have a kn drop in filter, tanabe medalion touring catback exhaust and a tune from Looney Tuning.

 

I'm running the NGK BPR8ES's without problem. They are the same price as the 7's, but you really won't tell a difference between them. (At least I don't.)

Ebay has them cheap. $9 plus shipping.

 

I run BPR7ES's, with your mods I don't think it will matter much.

Edit: Didn't realize you have a IX, so I have no idea (they run different plugs than VIIIs), still probably doesn't matter though.

 

yea don't listen to us 8 guys. Most of us run the ngk's stated about but i believe 9's need irridium's. Let a few 9 owners chime in and listen to them.

stick with OEM

 

i'm running these gapped to 22 cause im using alky red turbo 31psi and one step colder if u keep your car with minor bolt ones u can use these stock heat or if u want to save money use the copper ngk dollar plugs..

 

i run OEM plugs on mine with no problem.
