I don't qualify, but did own a 05 for 3 years:

*Paint worst ever
*Turning radius
*Seats never looked clean
*Stereotype (I'm old 31 when I bought it)
*No Cruise
*No amenities
*Typical small displacement no torque wait for boost issues. Which I never knew I missed until I drove the Z06.

Great car give me a used car under 20K and I'd buy another EVO. I do love my Z06 though!!!

i hate the fact that the heavier the mod's, the more prone she is to becoming a garage queen..................it's like, the more things you fix, the more things break.

Oh god how could i over look the undertray.

#1 on my list is the Plastic Undertray and the 1,000 pop rivets that are holding it in.

*the fact that i fix it and something else goes wrong.
*the cost of parts from mitsu..... but there is evom, and we can find any part you need for not even a third of the price.
*tranny grinds
*brembo paint
*spoiler clear coat, have had 2 spoilers and both faded
*the fact that i service it ever 100 feet

all that and my car has 125,000 miles and i still love it!!

Turning radius, No cruise control, Stock bushings and coilovers wear out to quick (force to change bushings due to rear-end washing out), had to replace a wheel well cover (passenger side) when i went 130mph (too much drag at high speeds, stock evo9 wing will snap and dent trunk at high speeds, stock tire had the best traction for me but cost 300 per to replace, stock acd flash suck and will try to tell you how it wants you to drive, crappy interior, crappy 6-speed tran forces you to granny shift sometimes which means sometimes if im trying to shift fast it will stick

but i love the car and its potential; and with every car there is always flaws but the evo with a great aftermarket sense allows you to minimize the flaws it has, not like other cars; it also has the ability (when modded) to "keep up and sometimes beat" other "true" super-cars (like Porsche and Lambos ex: evo8 fq-400)

But all in all, No Car Is Perfect

This is all in my own opinion

Paint! the brembos, the clear on the wing, the chips on the hood. The floor mat hook never holds it right, and my feet are too big for the pedals. Repair costs if something goes wrong.
If it didnt have a blown motor, i would be very happy. But for now, i hate it.

There's only one thing I don't like - the weight. If the IX weighed, say, ~2800lbs the car would be perfect. Other than that, no complaints.
