The inferior parts that Mitsu will not replace!!

 

I'm 37 and haven't seen too much of that. It seems that everyone on the forums is early 20's but I'm kind of use to it. They say that Capricorns age in reverse.

I switched from Geico to Progressive. I'm surprised by the sub $100 rates that some of you have, though...I'd have to assume that those companies weren't bright enough to distinguish between Lancer models. i think I'm paying $130 and I'm old with a clean record.

+1. My car also starts hard if I leave it out in the sun for the afternoon. Still not sure what's up with that.

I guess CC is new in the X because I have it.

Those of you complaining about the car being a dick magnet. Being gay wouldn't help...car dudes are pretty much all straight. I didn't buy a Prius.

 

what a hateful thread. i mean id pick a 2009 turboed lancer evo anyday over an sti.

 

1. How notchy and loud the shifing/trans is until it gets warm
2. The back seat don't fold down.
3. The paint is weak
4. turning radius sucks
5. the fans are really loud
6. when the rad fan turns on the motor revs higher and louder
7. the over $50 oil changes damn mobil one haha
8. clear coat on front breaks is gone.

besides all that i love the thing! haha.

 

Bro you have an RS! I know how you feel about the noises, I went for a ride with an evo 7 and the thing was so quiet I couldn't believe it.
One thing I don't like about the evo is the speedo gauges, I mean have you guys seen the gauges for the Sti?

 

the only bad thing about this car is no cruise control other than that everyone else on her is a dumbass

 

-crappy visibility (high beltline, crappy mirrors, huge A pillars)
-No 6th gear (GSR)
-Pig (weight-wise)
-Annoying seat belt chime with no hack like my WRX had. *solved*
-No rear seat passthru
-No telescoping steering wheel & seat height adjustment
-Crappy bouncing idle
-Can't see half the gauges b/c of the steering wheel
-****ty stock clutch
-Power windows work after turning off key....until someone opens a door
-Multi-display
-Quiet turn signals that don't turn off very well

....the way the car drives...makes up for all that and then some.

 

Hmm...

1. The fact that it has terrible insurance rates (and I work in insurance)... even the SL65 AMG is cheaper in virtually every otherwise identical scenario
2. The paint is mediocre
3. Maintenance is relatively pricey
4. I can live without cruise control, but it would be nice to have
5. HVAC controls never quite staying where you turn the knob
6. Weak A/C (especially the defogger)
7. Rear seat doesn't fold down or have a pass-through
8. No seat heat adjustment
