Evo 9 fuel cut after reflash??

How's it goin? After I was reflashed and tuned I began experiencing every so often a violent buck or hiccup in the car when slightly flooring gas in 2nd or 3rd. I let off the gas and slow down shift gear and it's fine. After using the serach function I see that it's a fuel cut problem, but I hear the best thing is to eliminate it via ecu? I do not like that nasty jerk and really ruins my driving experience. What is the current cure for this? All threads were from 03 so that's just too long ago which is why I'm asking today. Thanks for your time.

The only reason I would think you are hitting a fuel cut would be because your injectors duty cycle is maxed out. So if that is the case, it would be time to upgrade you injectors. But you said you slightly gas it and you buck? What is your peak boost?

peak boost is 21 psi. I do believe it's possible for injector duty cycle to max since it's stock injectors right now. I read previously that you can disable fuel cut from ecu to cure this problem.

doesnt really sound like fuel cut. fuel cut in the ecu is based on the load value you are hitting. its around 250% stock. when you pass 250% load than fuel cut kicks in, id be surprised if your hitting fuel cut at part throttle. if your flooring it low in the rpm, than maybe, i guess it depends what slightly flooring it is. fuel cut should be removed or atleast raised when you get the car tuned. if you have a copy of your map i can help, otherwise take it back to the shop that tuned it and have them look at it.

That's the best thing to do I think. It ususally happens when I'm really getting on the gas and in the lower rpms not 6 k or something. I'll see what happens when I revisit tuning shop.
