Hello people. As is blatently obvious from the title, I'm new on this here thing and new to my OZ-Rally. Basically I just have a few ??? First off, what mods rate highest as far as cost-to-performance ratio? Second, are there any websites (including maybe this one) with info posted on them pertaining to projects at home or do-it-yourself work? I like to think I'm halfway intelligent (wait, no, I'm a genius, I forgot) and I'd hate to pay some dude good money just to tighten and loosen a couple bolts and whatnot. Finally, I need some recommendations on how to liven up my car a bit. I wanna go for a red-on-black theme, but I'm not sure where to start. Thanks for all your help, ahead of time.

 

My first piece of advice would be toss in an intake. If you have the money, get a bored throttle body as well and tighten the throttle line a wee bit when you're under the hood. Ease of install ...8 on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being tying your shoes, 0 being rocket telemetry). Total cost is anywhere from 99 (for just an intake) to around 500 (for an Injen cold air intake and bored throttle body from RRM). Anyway...you have tons of choices as far as intakes go. Take a look around the parts index thread and the USDM Lancer tech forums and make a decision. Don't hesitate to ask questions, but please check first to see if someone's asked them before.
