Hello,

Just wondering how much 360 whp equals to flywheel hp on an EVO IX?

multiply by 1.17...and u gt a flywheel of 420
thats at 17%

I think about 20% above that.
Just get a new Clutch/Flywheel.

IIRC, someone in the UK actually measured the EVO drive train loss at 24%.

That would make 360whp as 474hp at the crank.

Of course, that would only be for an EDM model.

here is some data from my personal experiences:

Stock Evo IX on a DynoJet = 241hp / 245ft.lb; and, on Mustang dyno (as well as a v-box strapped to the car during a 1/4mile run) = 215hp / 230ft.lb

So, considering the factory engine ratings of 286/289, the drivetrain losses on a Dynojet were: 16% hp, 15% Tq... and, 24% / 21% losses on a Mustang (and also, the vbox, which uses accelerometers, when plugged into the car on a 1/4mile run, showed nearly identical HP at the wheels, as the mustang dyno did)
