I've taken out a Ferrari, Porshe, Lambo at my local 1/8 track. It wasn't even close. So yes it can be done.

yes you can mod any car to beat any other car with in reason. You could easily mod your evo to beat that ferrari. Although only to a point, you would get murdered top speed. Please dont tell me your one of those people that your only goal now is to mod your evo ebough to beat it. Because no matter how much faster you make your car, the ferrari is a ferrari. and your car will always be a mitsubishi.

It depends where you're looking to beat it as well.

I know a lot of it has to do with the drivers, but at my last track day (road course) I passed a 360, and i'm running the stock turbo with ~360-380 whp.

yeah but it's nice to see the look on their face when you eat them up. I had a guy in a porche carrera turbo stumped that I spanked his *** and then gave me a ton of compliments.

If you're looking at your car as a status symbol or a way to compensate they yes, a Ferrari is a Ferrari and an Evo is a Mitsu...

But if you're into cars because you love performance, then the evo can be just as good and better than the Ferrari for many reasons.

Its just nice to know you can afford to own a car thats as fast or faster than exotic supercars that I could never afford. Yeah, its a mitsubishi at the end of the day, but if it accelerates and handles as well as a Ferrari that makes it awesome and fun nonetheless.

wow amen to the above posters.....couldn't have said it better myself. It's always nice to see exotics but it's always great to see that my performance numbers at track are always better than theirs.

lmao!! Oh i know haha! It'll be nice to know that my lil 30,000$$ car can keep up to a 200,000$$ car.

Im not trying to mod my car that intense that im aiming to beat that car in specific, im not gonna lie and say its more motivation to do a turbo upgrade.

My goal has always been 400whp. The mods im doing is just FP Red, injectors and cams and a tune. Nothing hardcore, still want that driveability/reliable aspect where i can cruise around the city and not worry about stuff breaking, etc

im sure you guys understand.

I think its soo funny that you guys pass these guys who spend ridiculous amounts of coin on there cars!! Its amusing

... and for much cheaper.

Price to Performance ratio.... no comparison.
