The IX's are very good at making power with just bolt-on's due to MIVEC. That's why chaotichoax said "limited modding - ix".. He ment that if the OWNER was only going to do limited modding, get the IX.Originally Posted by acidtonic

But if the owner is going to do a complete setup (big turbo, stroker kit, etc.).. Then he might as well get an VIII since they are cheaper to begin with and MIVEC won't be making much of a difference.

if you're going to buy a 09 mr for $27.5k, then you might as well save up and look into an evo x. warranty, previous owners' problems, clutch issues, etc is not so much a headache anymore.
