Why do some look different?

Ok first off this might be a newbie question I apologize for that but why does the first evo's front lip completely close and the second evo's does not? The first cars front bumper has white at the bottom while the second cars does not? Is it a aftermarket front bumper? Also why do some have ams painted on the intercooler and some dont?

The first picture shows an Evo with the Aero package. That consists of a deeper front lip, side skirts and the rear bumper is refined to match. AMS is an aftermarket intercooler.

As already stated, it's an OEM option:

So if I order a GSR with the SSS package it will look like the top one correct? The SSS includes the front and rear air damns right? On mitsubishi's site while building a car, are the intercooler pipes a necessary option, I mean it comes with them anyways right? Just want to make sure because when I get this car I want it to be perfect lol

sss package will not look like the top, the top has a additional aero package which is another $2k? sss package is only HID, upgrade sound, and big spoiler.

sss package will look like the pic on the bottom. IC pipe are not required, they come stock.

No, that is the aero kit.

The aero kit consists of front underspoiler, rear valences, side skirts, rear spoiler extension, and brake ducts.

The SSS package consists of projector HID's, high rise spoiler, Rockford Fosgate stereo system, and the fast-key option.

what color you getting?? just curious more then likely your going to be modding and changing all that stuff out anyways might as well save the money and put it towards aftermarket unless you trying to save face and warranty

I'll be getting a WW, like the one in my avatar pic and I'll only be lightly modding it with bolt-ons like exhaust, intake, etc.
