ok i just got this car about 5 months ago and it was already hooked up with performace parts. It has a r&r kit 30r with basic bolt ons and i really dont know what size are the injectors. i recently put 272 hks cams and got it street tuned....but for some reason it doesnt pull hard enough. The tune was great sounds good and boosts really good it just doesnt go. The only problem was that the air temp was bad it was around 130+ and i know thats not good at all. I was thinking maybe i know the problem but im not to sure. The upper piping is different then what i have seen and i really dont have room for a good air filter so i have to use a short one i have a k&n typhoon. My tunner said thats my problem air filter and to much heat sock. Please help this **** is driveing my crazy. o and by the way i raced my friend last night he has bolt ons and cams and 101 gas and he spanked me on the freeway!

just curious..what shop is this?

I'd check out the size of those injectors, unless ur fuel mapping is appropriate. what is the air/fuel ratio because if ur running too lean, then the air intake could be a possibility.

also, give a full modification list, it will give us a better view and maybe narrow down an issue.

compression check and boost leak check. also if it is the tune you're worrying about, check out the tuners here. they are excellent

Only thing i notice off the bat is that its an RnR kit and every car i have come in contact with that had that kit NEVER makes the power it should..

If your compression and boost leak tests are good then run it on a dyno and sheets for afr, boost, and power. That way you'll at least have some solid numbers to troubleshoot from. Your tuner might be sharp but without all of the tools he might not be giving you the best possible advice.
