new evo owner tuning question

ok so i traded my 500hp grand national for an evo 8 and im trying to see what some of my options are as far as tuning.which are best? and which are affordable?
this car will not be seeing outrageous mods like a stroker kit or anything like that. i plan to do the basics ,exhaust,ic piping ,intake, fuel pump and maybe a turbo or alcohol. actually thats my next question.how do these cars respond to methanol? my gn worked great with it.

nothing yet lol well ive owned it a week and put an intake and a test pipe on it so far. i got the thing running like **** the guy knew nothing. so i guess thats why he didnt want it.it had three codes and sputtered in boost. all the acd lights were on. you know what it was? lol. some *** threw in autolite garbage plugs in it with a .40 gap!! thats the sputter under boost problem fixed .the acd and one cel was tps switch which was simply disconnected lol. then the last was fpr solenoid and it too was disconnected. that was the easiest fix of multiple problems i ever came across drives great now.turbo back on the way and a lower icp.after that ? meth lol?i love these cars cause they came with so much good **** stock lol

The stock BOV is good for stock boost, but it can leak at higher boost settings.

stock 9 DV and JDM DV can hold up to 25 pounds. anything higher, consider a good after marker BOV.

I have the 3 acd lights on and hoped it needed flushing (best case), turned out the ACD pump was bad and had to be replaced ($2,400), and the relay is on backorder from japan. i've had the car in the shop 4 times and its still not functioning properly.

good luck with that!
