comparing a 6262 to a stock frame turbo is just stupid. What are you mods? What do you want spool by? Trying to compare a 6262 to a Red is like trying to compare a prostitute from Amsterdam to a prostitute at my local Cracker Barrel.

IF it was me I could live with the spool of a 6262 but everyone is different.

start with a built longblock for one so you can run way more boost. im sure most do the standard bolt ons. also that aggressive tune and some custom parts help. not the point depending on your setup will determine what the red can do. your right on avg person 400-450 for sure. but we have all seen 500-550 with meth added and 631 on race gas and fully built block etc etc. it can be done but again thats your more detailed setups. but as stated above you cant compare the red and 6262 in different leagues

You better be making more than that. Im almost to 480 on a new green with more to give! We are expecting low 500s when I get the shortblock and double pump setup. Must not have the mods to back that turbo up...?

Wow, thats really weird. I have had it on two dynos, that both read close to BRs, or so Ive heard and it is really pulling hard (both the dyno numbers were almost identical, so that reinforced to me that the numbers were very close to correct). To me it just sounds like the dyno is a killer, which is fine, but are you sure its calibrated correctly? using any correction factors?

I love the HTA, perfect street turbo for me, it STARTS spooling before 3k, and hits full spool right around 3500 and it holds pressure all the way till the top. No problems whatsoever. Reliable, consistent power.

The race car made just shy of 480hp with the Red on Q-16

The Red absolutely murders the HTA Green on his dyno

Yeah, the dyno just has to be reading extremely low. A red with all those supporting mods on race gas should definitely be at least over 500, maybe higher. That is fine that it reads low, no big deal, but I just can't see that being too accurate...

Yeah PnP head, 2.3 L short block, leaning towards the AMS 2.3RR. I put that off until next season though. Got a set of RobiSpec KW custom coilovers, a few other suspension mods and an ARC titanium exhaust. Broke the bank for the time being, so I will save up during the winter months to do the motor build. Should be interesting...

Im planning to build the block later, but staying at 2.0l. Would want full boost around 3000-4200 maybe the lastest for now.
