Evo IX 5-Speed vs. 6-speed
So I keep hearing that the 6-speed is vastly inferior to the regular 5-speed.
I really like the MR and 6-speeds, but I dont want a tranny thats going to die on me.
I've heard that "The 6-speed has the same size transmission as the 5-speed, so there are more gears in the same amount of space, making it more susceptible to failing."
Id prefer to get the MR, but if the 6 really does suck, I'm going to go for an SSL or SE.

Search function is your friend , this topic has been covered about in countless threads. I'll sum it up for you , if you plan on pushing around alot of HP then the 5spd. is a better bet ; if not then 6spd. will due
