DSM owner, EVO admirer

I've had a '98 Eclipse GS since I was 16. I want a turbo/AWD of course but I'm in college now and my money needs to go toward less fun things. I've loved EVOs for as long as I have been interested in cars. I'm on about every DSM forum and also Midwestevos.com and NASIOC. I joined a long time ago but just am now getting around to posting rather than just lurking. Thanks for checking out my thread and hopefully an EVO will be in my not-so-distant future.

pretty much in the same boat as you guys! my fiance has had a turbo car since he was 16, and i feel in love the the tial BOV that he had on his daytona. since then, he's had dsm's for about the past 10 years, and i finally joined the turbo lovin community 5 years ago when i got my srt4. after graduating and saving money for about 2 years, i was finally able to get my evo 9. i'll never go back to a non-turbo/AWD car again! i'm in love

good luck with your evo search guys!!!

haha wow...we're like twins. I had a 1g when I was in high school and college, then built up an integra, then a 240, and now graduated and finally bought a 06 ix mr. Best decision I ever made.

haha! sweet! yea my first dsm was a awd 91 with intake exhaust, 2nd one was a high 12 sec fwd that was pretty quick and clean. only difference between us is i bought my integra to beat the **** out of haha. was a 91 LS special, power everything, interior immaculate. exterior not so much, but thats what a beaters for! weapon r intake, dc sports springs (couldnt even fit ur pinky in the wheel gap haha), dc catback, some off brand cams...i tached that thing out everywhere for 3 years, drove it into fields into my friends beaters. all i ever replaced were tires!! i sold it to someone and the control arm broke a week later. tough luck i guess. my 240 was basically stock, 2 owner 89. immaculate overall condition, im probably buying it back in the spring and doing an rb swap into it. make it a fun like mid 200 hp light rwd drift queen.

where in maryland are you at?? im not far from maryland. whats done to your IX?
