Talked him down to 16k w/o warranty. I'll post pics of it up.

 

Note: This is my first stick. I've been noticing.. When I drove thru the highway it was good. But I went thru the gate, showed my id and such. Then put it in 1st and tried to drive off. It buckled and stalled. That happen once when I was test driving it. Then when I went thru the gate. Stalled it at least 3 times. Not sure if I was low in RPMs or too high in RPMs.

 

No offense but I just think you are getting ripped off all the way around on this deal due to you not doing enough homework on an investment of this size and you not knowing much about cars in general (i get that from the comments above). I know when you get the itch to get something you want it ASAP but take your time and do your research.

I work in insurance, and one of my friends who works for Mercury (a company that I don't sell) says that they have been offering an auto warranty of some sort that generally is a fraction of the price that dealerships typically charge. I believe he said you can buy it at any time, though you may have to check with them for all of the rules and stuff.

 

Thanks alot man. I've been searching for evo's for the past month. This was the cheapest I could get one. And I realized I was stalling because I was letting off the clutch too fast. Which, in terms stalled. Just gotta get used to the clutch.

 

Might want to factor in a new clutch at your pace.

Whoa! Learning to drive stick on an Evo?? This usually isn't much of a learner's car so be careful (and safe) with it.
