I took pictures - what am I looking at to replace/ fix? Is the base itself damaged or just a new antenna?

Thankfully its just your vortex generator, the metal clip you see is just to hold it on better for high speeds and the antenna goes on top to hold it down

So I take the clip off, slide out the broken antenna base, install new antenna and put the clip back on? That doesn't sound too bad.

I apologize for size, but I wanted alot of detail so it could be seen clearly.

PS **** thieves.

O sorry didnt see that, you should remove the metal clip and I think youll have to get a grip on the broken antenna base and unscrew it out the put the clip back on followed by the new antenna. Looks like some damage has been done to the vortex gen tho... Sorry man

So I was messing with this today, and I don't think I get the fundmentals.

It was said the vortex generator is broken - I thought it was just the antenna that was broken at the base? I went out there took off the clip and had some needle nose pliers and for that life of me I could not get the broken portion out of the vortex generator itself, which made me think that i'm doing something wrong. Any insight would be appreciated. I didn't want to break it anymore then these ****ers already did.

well, i finally got around to trying to fix this today.

Had to remove the vortex generator, drop the headliner and take out the entire OEM antenna assembly - which is now destroyed.

That being said, **** thieves and also - I need the part number or a diagram site or something I can pull it off of, if anyone knows. What a pain =\
