Hard to say w/o actually seeing it. Been modded but who knows how far.

 

Looks good to me, but you can never be sure with used Evo's.

What do you guys make of the price? It's just way out of whack.. If the car is legit they could easily sell it for $20-$22k....

 

I bet dollars to doughnuts it's an ad for a phishing scam.

I've ran across them quite a few times over the years.

The easiest way to tell is to ask them if you can meet them and the car in person.

 

It's at a dealership... The car is listed on their web site with the same price...

 

The dealership either doesn't know what they have or the car is junk. Nobody, especially a dealership, would selling that car for anything less then $25k.

 

I'm sketched out by quite a few things.
1. Ad says its a 5 speed. MR's are a 6
2. Has the red stitched Recaros (only in SE and MR SE)
3. If indeed it was a MR SE, wheres the sun roof??

 

Might be a salvaged or something. I suggest taking someone who is mechanically inclined and has expirience in Evos to look at it. Because that is just too good of a price.

 

SSL has the sunroof.

If the car has any warranty, it would be worth it for the OP to look into it.
Make sure you get the car inspected and if nothing else, get a compression and leakdown test performed!

 

Might be a good idea to ask around to see if the previous owner was a member on here? Might be able to give you some insight on why the price is low.

 

OR, nobody in Maine is buying an evo right now, or a car period.

I watched the evo i bought come down in price 3 times before i bought it.

 

The car is located in New Jersey...

But true about the economy. Economy is so crappy right now, no one is buying anything big.
