evo IX BOV is definitely a good start. Mine came with an aftermarket BOV and I'm taking it off next week. Exhaust is also a good start, with wideband O2...

Welcome.

I would start with intake, exhaust and suspension (coilovers not springs). After all my mods, I was more content with the coilovers. By far the best performance mod I've done...

Depends on how much money u have to put into mods. Exhaust is a good start. Also depends on what ur going to be doing with the car. Is it going to be your daily driver, or maybe tracking the car?

You might be able to run a carfax on it, if the service was done at a dealership. If not, you might be able to look at the timing belt and see if it looks relatively new. Coilovers are also a really good start! Do you have an MBC or a boost gauge yet?

Was the car completely stock (engine mods) when you picked it up? If so, keeping it stock isn't a bad option.

If that's not your cup of tea... then go the usual route of intake, exhaust, jdm ix mr bov and boost controller

oh yes and as said above walbro, wideband o2 and oil pressure
