I use the ngk's and have never had a problem. I run 25 psi all day. I am suprised you have gone through so many. Sounds like you have a different problem.

I am switching to NGK BPR7ES and will be running 22-23lbs of boost.

I am unsure how the OEM plugs would hold up to that boost level though.

I had OEM plugs and coil packs that were fine at 20lbs for a while.

I would go with the 8's. Are you tuned for 25 psi?? What is your AFR at full boost??

im not really sure what my afr is at full boost... i traded my wideband n apexi boost controller for tomie rods n wiseco pstons... it smells a lil rich in warm weather n lean in the winter, if that makes sense... it was tuned by previous owner for 18lbs but i added bolt ons awhile back and a local dsm mechanic said i should b fine to bump boost to 25lbs n get a tune later... i am learning as i go as i havent had experience at all with turbo cars just v8's

wait...

It was tuned for 18psi.

You added mods.

DSM mech said you could bump it to 25. And your driving around like that?!

Get another wideband. If the mechanic left it rich you might be able to turn the boost up a little. But without a AFR how are you going to know what your car is doing for fuel on the additional boost. This sounds dangerous to me.

Yeah, get it tuned... do not go to full boost. You are probably running the thing way too lean at high RPM. Get a tune before you do damage to the engine.

If anything, get a tactrix cable, Evoscan etc so you can start to learn what is happening with the car. logs etc.
